Emu Hill Pastoral Co

Location: Western Victoria

This project represents the foundation of Emu Hill Ag, beginning in 2021 on our own family farm, Emu Hill Pastoral. What started as content creation for social media has grown into full-time videography, documenting the processes, people, and machinery that make the farm run. Over the years, we have captured every aspect of farm life, showcasing both the Draffin family and our amazing staff, alongside the beauty and authenticity of modern farming.

Filming from 2022 to now, the content covers all cropping operations including sowing, burning stubbles, spraying, rolling soil, windrowing, harvesting, and cleaning seed. Livestock production is highlighted through sheep work, lambing, shearing, and daily animal management. Additional footage captures hay cutting and baling, truck operations, spreading fertiliser, and moments with sheep dogs, farm pets, and wildlife.

The resulting content combines cinematic drone and camera footage to tell the story of Emu Hill Pastoral in its entirety: old machinery alongside new, sunset landscapes, authentic farm life, and the people who make it all happen. The work reflects our commitment to creating positive, real, and down-to-earth storytelling that celebrates both cropping and prime lamb production.
