About
I’m Holly Draffin, co-founder of Emu Hill Ag, a professional videography and content creation business specialising in agriculture and rural storytelling. I capture the people, the work, and the stories that make agriculture extraordinary.
Emu Hill Ag started with my brother Hamish and I. Back in 2022, he bought a drone and filmed some footage of our sprayer, then asked me to edit it. That small project turned into something bigger and became the start of Emu Hill Ag. We still share the account, but I now handle the client work, and those early days working together really set the foundation for everything that followed.
My journey into videography began during one of the most challenging periods of my life. At sixteen, while living a healthy and active life, I was struck down with Lyme disease. The illness left me fatigued, with brain fog, migraines, and muscle aches, making everyday life extremely challenging. Traditional treatments had limited effect, and I eventually had to travel overseas for further care.
During this time, editing and sharing videos from our family farm gave me purpose and joy during a dark period. Creating these videos helped me discover a passion that continues to drive me today.
I’ve learned videography through hands-on experience, trial and error, and countless hours of online learning. My approach is candid and flexible, focusing on capturing people and processes naturally. This allows the work to feel authentic and effortless, especially in busy farm environments.
Today, Emu Hill Ag works with agricultural businesses across Australia to showcase their operations and tell their stories in a visually compelling way. The content we create not only documents the work being done but also communicates the dedication, skill, and heart behind every process.
Our goal is to deliver stories that are authentic and meaningful. Content that resonates, connects, and bridges the gap between the city and country. Through Emu Hill Ag, we aim to inspire, educate, and celebrate the beauty of agriculture, helping businesses engage with their communities and grow through compelling visual storytelling.
If you’re looking for videography that values authenticity, hard work, and the beauty of agriculture, I would love to help bring your business’s story to life.
